FTWZ is a Deemed Foreign Territory and a Subsidiary of SEZ that carries a special status and offers great benefits to Importers and Exporters in India.

Check out some of the highly cost-effective solutions you can expect when you work with SSCPL FTWZ:

• No customs clearance at Seaport / Airport: No documentation or payment of duty at any Seaport or the Airport while importing, exporting or re-exporting.
• Duty deferment up to two years: Duty-free storage of the goods at the SSCPL FTWZ without payment of duty up to two years. Clearance from FTWZ is allowed on part/piece basis also and duty is payable only on the goods cleared from FTWZ.
• Imported goods can be taken out of SSCPL FTWZ without the payment of duty for Demonstrations/Exhibitions/Display purposes through Temporary Removal Challan (TRC)
• Value Added Services (VAS) is permissible (Packing/Re-Packing, Labelling/Re-labelling, Tagging, Kitting, Bundling, Bottling, Assembling, Leaflets insertion, etc.)
• Re-Export from FTWZ to overseas: Goods once imported can be re-exported to the third country without payment of customs duty, re-exports can also be done after performing Value Added Services on the imported goods.
